Information you provide
ScopeLark may process business contact details, client details, project descriptions, estimate and invoice line items, pricing, terms, payment-link URLs, and account email addresses. You decide what information to enter.
Local and cloud storage
The estimate builder initially stores drafts in your browser. If you create an account and use cloud backup, records are stored with our database provider and protected so authenticated users can access only their own records. Client review pages require a unique private token; anyone who receives that token may view the linked document.
Billing information
ScopeLark uses Stripe to process Pro subscriptions. Stripe receives and processes payment-card and billing information under its own privacy terms. ScopeLark does not store full card numbers. A payment link you add to a customer invoice is opened directly with the payment provider you selected.
Analytics and technical data
We use Vercel hosting and analytics to understand page visits and product events such as estimates started, documents saved, approval links shared, and checkout starts. Technical logs may include IP address, device, browser, referring page, and timestamps for security and reliability.
How information is used
- Provide, sync, secure, and improve the service.
- Create and display estimates, invoices, and approval pages.
- Operate subscriptions and prevent abuse.
- Measure product performance and troubleshoot problems.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
We rely on Vercel for hosting and analytics, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Stripe for subscription billing. They process information according to their agreements and privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
Browser data remains until you clear it. Cloud records generally remain while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements. You may request account or cloud-data deletion through Support.
Your responsibilities
Only enter client information you have a lawful reason to use. Protect private approval links and do not include unnecessary sensitive information such as government identifiers, medical records, or payment-card numbers.
Security
ScopeLark uses encrypted network connections, account authentication, database access policies, and restricted service credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
ScopeLark is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13.
