From quote to invoice without duplicate work

ScopeLark keeps the same project record as work moves forward. Build and save the estimate, revise it with the customer, then convert it into an invoice when the work is approved or completed.

What belongs on a contractor invoice?

  • Your business name and customer information
  • A unique invoice number and due date
  • Itemized labor, materials, equipment, and other charges
  • Discounts, applicable tax, and the total amount due
  • Payment terms, relevant notes, and approved changes

Keep estimates and invoices consistent

Using the approved estimate as the starting point reduces errors and makes the invoice easier for the customer to recognize. If the final work differs, add a clear line or note explaining the approved change.
